2) Here's a really simple thing you can do. It will take you only about a minute each week. Develop the habit of making a call each week.

​

Pick a time and day of the week when you can make a short phone call. It could be just before breakfast on Monday or before you go to bed on Wednesday. The idea is to make your phone call a habit. If you say I'll call each week without having a set time, your week will probably go by without you phoning. That's just human nature, Call up your New York State Assembly Member the first week, The next week call your New York  State Senator. The third week call Governor Hochul.

Begin the cycle again during the fourth week.

 

Once you have their phone numbers put the numbers on speed dial. You can call at any time. Weekends are fine. You can even call in the the middle of the night. They all have voicemail so you don't have to call during their office hours.The message can be as simple as "Pass the New York Health Act."

To find your Assembly Member CLICK HERE It has a "Member Search" tool. Enter your address to find your Assembly member and then clock on the "Member Directory" on the top of the page. Find your member in the directory. Your member's phone number is included with their entry.   

 

New York State Senate:

To find your State Senator CLICK HERE and use the "Find My Member" tool. Enter your street address and your zip code. Click on "Message My Senator" and your senator's phone number will come up.
