IThe Poor People's Campaign--Works to end poverty in America. Our economy is organized to channel most of the wealth to an economic elite. There is no reason it couldn't be reorganized to allow everyone to have a decent life. The Poor People's Campaign works for all Americans.
Our Revolution--Is a national group which grew out of the 2016 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign. It works for the goals Bernie champions which we share.
ITenants PAC--Is a politcal action committee for tenants. Housing should be a right for all in America. This group fights to protect and extend rent reglations and other protections for tenants.
Campaign for New York Health--Is dedicated to getting the New York Health Act passed. This legislation would create Medicare for All in New York State. It would establish access to quality healthcare as a right in New York. Lives would be saved and the cost of healthcare would be reduced.
Food & Water Watch--Fights against corporate interests which put profits before people and endanger our food, water and climate.
Class Size Matters--Advocates for smaller classes in NYC’s public schools and the nation as a whole. They also champion greater parent involvement in decision-making and the strengthening student privacy protections.
Alliance for Quality Education--Mobilizes communities across the state to make New York keep its promise of ensuring a high quality public education to all students regardless of zip code. It works to end the systemic racism and economic oppression in New York’s public schools.
